We all have things that we say we want, a good job, and happy home, a fun life. Or it may be to feel safe, be rich; to understand why we are here and what’s it all about. What each of us want can be a varied as the colors of the rainbow or as many as the grains of sand on the beach. Wants or Wishes are not the obstacle to achieving them it is understanding how to move from the want or wish to the physical manifestation of it that proves to trip some of us up. As you know as a reader of the Power Thinking Newsletter Dr Vetter does no print the only way, just another way that has been found useful to achieving results. It is important to know that there are ways to get what you want. They are called plans or maps or models. This presupposes you have already moved from wishful thinking and turned your want into something more solid. In Neuro-Linguistics it is called a well formed outcome. I simply refer to it as a solid or strong intention. I have a friend that often refers to it as segment of intention. We will discuss this in a later Power Thinking Newsletter or if you can’t wait it is also in the “The Secret of the Forgotten Fundamentals” program. Here’s something to think about “to a magician it’s not magic’ or “to God it’s not a miracle”. Why because they know the plan, the how it works. With a miracle or magic there is always a sequence of events, we would call this a strategy or formula. Grampa Vetter called it a recipe. “He said Granny used a secret recipe to make her miracle cakes.” They really could change any sour mood around. But before you can consistently put your plan into action or your decision to create or find a plan to follow you will want to build your willpower so you can press forward. In future issues we will talk about different plans, today I just wanted to make you aware that if you want to get what you want the strategy/structure is 1) Know What You Want
