Crisis Management Coaching
"What to do? What to do?"

No matter what your business is, from time to time there will be a need for crisis management coaching. It may be a crisis of personalities, it may be a crisis of money, but no matter what, every now and then your business could take advantage of some coaching.

Yes, the pressure is on and you need relief. In these times it is extremely useful to have a fresh pair of eyes. Someone without tunnel vision and eyes that can look outside the box, a coach that can see both the forest and the trees - these are what you need.

I remember one company that was doing so well after 15 years of hard work that they were getting set up to franchise their business nationally.

The problem was, even though they were getting an over-abundance of leads the company was set up where the sales force was dependant on the administration staff to field, screen and distribute the incoming calls to the sales side.

They had no idea how many leads were falling through the cracks, but they knew it was costing them money both on the front end to get the lead and on the back end because they weren't being converted to paying customers.

Naturally the administration side had very little incentive to be attentive and follow through, since answering the phone kept them from getting their own work done. On top of this, the two partners (one was over sales and the other over administration) did not see eye to eye and didn't trust each other.

After sitting down with both sets of employees and their respective bosses, I made the recommendation which I'm sure you would think is the most obvious, that one person be placed as the sales administrator and all sales calls, leads, etc. go through her, and she set the appointment for the sales person, and that bonuses be given on production.

This saved the sales staff from having to attempt not to give their presentation over the phone while at the same time creating a system that could track the leads and upped their revenue by 60%. They were doing fantastic and yet with this one small recommendation they increased their income stream by a fantastic 60%. I don't know a single business that wouldn't enjoy those types of results for so little effort.

Even though in hindsight it seems like a simple solution to a big problem, when you are stuck in the middle of it and the pressure is on it is not that simple. This is just one example of why Crisis Management Coaching is so valuable.
